"Pretty clean, mostly easy to use"
Slack has a nice clean look and it’s easy enough to figure out most of the time. Some of the settings though, they feel kind of hidden away and I had to click around a bit to find them.
"The calls are clear most of the time…"
The calls are clear most of the time, clear enough for everyday use. Sometimes there’s a bit of lag, which can be annoying, but it’s still really handy to have.

"Pretty painless setup"
Onboarding was simple and didn’t give me any headaches. Reading between the lines, it feels like they’ve put some thought into making the first steps clear instead of overcomplicating everything.

"Works fine, though of course I still deal with lag"
Most of my team calls are clear, and the video usually works without much trouble. Every now and then it gets laggy, which is frustrating because it always seems to happen when I’m the one trying to talk or share something important. Reconnecting usually fixes it, but it’s still a bit annoying to have to be the one messing with it while everyone else is waiting

"Slack’s been super reliable for us"
We use slack pretty much all day at work, it’s been really dependable. Messages send fast, calls usually work without any hassle, and I almost never notice any downtime. I remember maybe one short issue, but it got fixed quickly and didn’t really mess with our day. For something we rely on this much, it just works, and that’s what I care about most.

"We use Slack at work, and it…"
We use Slack at work, and it feels dependable from a security standpoint. The SSO and admin controls make a big difference, and our compliance team seemed comfortable with the audit logs and retention options, which gave me some peace of mind too. A few settings are tucked away and took me longer than they should have to figure out, so it’s not perfect. But for everyday work chat, it does what we need and feels safe enough. You just want a tool that helps people communicate without making security someone else’s problem, and Slack mostly gets that right.

"They did a good job helping me…"
They did a good job helping me out, so I definitely appreciated that. The only thing is the reply took longer than I expected, which was a little frustrating. Maybe it was just a busy time, but I feel like a quicker response would’ve made the experience much better.
"Solid for Work, But Can Get Noisy"
Not gonna lie, Slack is really handy for work stuff and quick chats, but it can get overwhelming fast. Between all the channels, threads, and constant notifications, it sometimes feels like there’s just too much going on. Still, overall it’s a solid tool and I use it a lot

"Decent for simple automations, but kind of frustrating"
slack workflow automation is handy for little things like reminders, approvals, and sending team updates. Once you get it set up, it does save some time. But building the workflows isn’t always as clear as it should be. Steps randomly break, people miss notifications, and then fixing everything means way more clicking around than I expected. I don’t know whoever runs this side of slack, but they really need to make it smoother. Overall, it works fine for basic stuff, but I wouldn’t trust it with anything too important.

"Once I actually went in and…"
Once I actually went in and set the notifications up the right way, they started working well. Almost too well, honestly, like the app was just waiting for me to flip the right switches before revealing it could do its job all along. But yeah, now I get the alerts when I need them, so I can’t really complain.
"We use Slack pretty much every day at..."
We use Slack pretty much every day at work. it just makes everything feel smoother. Quick questions, project updates, random check-ins. All in one place. Channels help a lot too, way less of a mess than digging through email threads. I also use search more than I expected, especially when I know someone said something important and I immediately forgot it. Calls are fine, not amazing, but they do the job. Notifications can get a little out of hand sometimes. But you can tweak them. Mute a few channels. Set things up how you like. Overall, it’s been really helpful for keeping our team on the same page.

"Slack isn’t exactly the cheapest thing…"
Slack isn’t exactly the cheapest thing on our list, but for us it’s been worth it. It just saves a ton of time compared to digging through emails, especially once things started getting busier. We were fine on the free plan at first, and then moving to paid made sense once the team grew a bit. For what we need it for, the pricing feels fair.

"Glad I connected Zapier with Drive"
Zapier and Google Drive have been working really well together for me. It saves me from missing files or losing track of important stuff, which is the main reason I keep using it. Once it’s set up, things just move where they need to go without me having to worry about it.

"Slack is good for our team overall…"
Slack is good for our team overall, no major complaints there. But the admin side feels kinda all over the place sometimes. Some settings are easy enough to find, then others are buried behind too many clicks or just sitting in odd spots. Dealing with permissions, especially for channels and guest users, can get a little confusing too. It gets the job done, I just wish the admin controls were more straightforward. Not bad, not amazing.

"I use Slack with clients and freelancers, it..."
I use Slack with clients and freelancers, it makes my workday feel a lot less scattered. Having everything in channels keeps me from digging through endless email threads, which is a huge relief when I’m already feeling busy. Inviting people is painless too. It’s not flawless every single time, but on most days, I’m really glad we use it instead of trying to manage everything over email.

"Easy to Find What I Needed"
I was expecting to spend a while digging around, but I found the old threads easily. For me, that made the whole experience feel straightforward and not frustrating at all

"Works fine overall"
It works fine for the most part and I haven’t really had any major issues with it, but the notifications do lag sometimes so I’ll get them later than expected and it can be a little annoying when I’m waiting on something

"Good for daily chats, but the free plan has limits"
I’ve been using Slack for a while now, maybe since last year or sometime around then, and overall it works fine for keeping in touch with a team. The one thing that gets annoying is not being able to go back and see older messages on the free plan. I’ve had a few times where I knew someone sent something important weeks ago, or maybe it was a couple months back, and I just couldn’t find it anymore. It’s still useful, but that limit can be really frustrating.

"Reliable for bigger teams"
Slack has actually been really good for our larger teams spread across different offices. The channels stay organized, even when there are a lot of people and projects happening at the same time. We’ve added more teams over time and didn’t really run into any strange limits or issues. The admin settings are actually solid too. It’s not perfect, but for enterprise use, it’s been dependable for us
